Windows Phone 7 Mango Update Spotted in Video

Last year, we reported that Microsoft is working on major Windows Phone 7 update dubbed Mango. Now Paul Thurrott, news editor and author for Windows Phone Secrets, believes that he has spotted WP7 Mango update in a video. Though the video is about another phone, the camera accommodates a phone lying around with updated Windows Phone 7 running on it.

Recently, Microsoft released the NoDo update for the specific brands running
WP7 and gifted users with features like Copy-Paste, faster apps and other improvements. Now the video in question, spotted by Thurrott, catches a glimpse of a device that has WP7 menu open with a search icon on it. This Mango update is said to bring a slew of new features like IE9 with hardware acceleration and HTML5 support, gestures support, better enterprise support and more improvements in the user interface.

There's no confirmation that the phone visible in the below video (at 2:48 timer) is running WP7 Mango update but we surely hope that it is true and the update is released
officially soon. We hope that this Mango update brings IE9 Silverlight support. Microsoft might just name the Mango update Windows Phone 7.5 or something.
